Our only hope is this economic downturn hasn’t reached Nerf. That would literally be the end of the world as we know it. Half of my childhood would have been completely different without the Nerf Bow n’ Arrow (yeah its not a gun, get your panties out of a wadiker). The idea of children growing up without Nerf guns is not a world I want to live anymore. (I was going to make a joke about how this is probably already the norm in Africa, but then realized they are shooting real guns at each other. Awk sauce.)
Scariest part of this whole thing is not knowing what would happen to the Vortex. There is no greater feeling than chucking a vortex the full length of the parking lot at recess for a touchdown as the bell rings. If Nerf goes under, we can also say goodbye to any dream of John Elway recreating this commercial.
