USA Today – The Mentor (Ohio) basketball team set a school single-game scoring record in a 118-98 win over Lakeside in Friday’s Division I Euclid District sectional final, but coach Bob Krizanicic wasn’t a happy man. “If you score 118 and have a great defensive effort, then it’s worthy of the record,” Krizancic told the News-Herald. “This wasn’t. This means nothing. This one should go down as an asterisk with us giving up 98 points and how poor defensively we played. Krizancic emptied his bench after Mentor scored 101 points (an average of 4.2 points per minute) through three quarters.
Get a load of this asshole coach. Just trying to be as tough as ever because his squad didn’t play with “great defensive effort” when they were blowing out some team. Dude, your team just won by 20 and put up 118 POINTS IN A GAME! Pretty sure you could play defense like they do in the NBA All-star game and you’d still dominate. You just set the record. Take a breath and don’t pretend like your that crazy ass Frank Martin. Honestly, you should be happy the other team put up as much as they did. Or else some loser parents from the other team would probably try to get you fired for running up the score, what with the pussy world we live in today where last place, no talent, rejects get participation trophies for just showing up. Just move on and stop making a big deal out of nothing.
