Arizona – There’s trouble surrounding an Arizona State University fraternity… According to police, the 17-year-old girl from California was in town for an ASU college recruiting trip when she was invited to the party at an off-campus house. The girl was standing beside a raging bonfire, according to police, when someone threw a bottle of vodka into the fire. The vodka exploded like a Molotov cocktail and sent flaming liquid onto the girl’s bare legs. The teen’s right leg was burned severely from thigh to ankle and her left leg was burned in places, as well.
Vibrant colored khaki pants? So frat. Wearing button-downs? So frat. Butt chugging? So frat. Throwing bottles of vodka into a raging bonfire? So frat. Getting a highschooler burned because you threw a bottle of vodka in a raging bonfire and it exploded? So, very UNFRAT. I guess chalk this one up to bad hazing policy? I mean, clearly one of the brothers was aiming for a pledge. He definitely was not trying to hurt anyone. But talk about getting the real life college experience when you go on a visit huh? Like, this is sooooome story when her friends ask her how her visit to ASU went. “Oh I got invited to a frat party, drank a little, and got burned by a fire. I think I’m gonna try to early enroll and take summer classes! Can’t wait to be a Sun Devil!” It’s either that or she’s going to the community college that’s a mile away from home, just scared as hell to every go to a college party ever again. Kind of an all or nothing thing, ya know.
