Examiner – There are numerous restaurants that have names which showcase exactly what they are offering such as Twin Peaks, Hooters, and Tilted Kilt. Well, a restaurant in Texas has now taken things a little bit further as a report from ABC News on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, states that a Texas-based bar [Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill] has registered the “Breastaurant” trademark.
Forget marketing 101. This is genius, upper level, stuff. Because you know what every news outlet, slash D-level blog, isn’t talking about today? That friendly neightborhood place, that’s kid friendly, and has great deals on entrees and apps. No, they’re talking about the “Breastaurant.” The most obvious trademark a restaurant has ever had. I mean when your restaurant is called Bikini Sports Bar & Grill you kind of have to do it. Can’t really just go 8 yards, gotta go the full 9. When Hooters is getting free endorsements from Michael Scott you gotta pull out all the stops.
