The Sun – Women hikers have been told to ditch their under-wired BRAS — because they make compasses go wonky. And they are warning females to dump the garments — along with any other items that create a magnetic field — before heading for the hills.
A lot of people like to disagree science. What is fact. What is theory. And what is just untrue. But I think we can all agree it’s just good policy to remove your bras ladies if your hiking up mountains. Science can’t be wrong here. And if they might be, well you never can be too careful. I mean, one moment you just reached the peak of Mount Vesuvius, the next your walking down in the wrong direction because your compass is all messed up just because you wanted a little extra support. You’re gonna have a tough time making it back to your Subaru Outback. Probably best to play it safe, and let those puppies breath.
P.S. If you’re a hiker how long your supposed to stay up at the summit and hang out up there. Like, you just walked 5 miles up hill and you’ve reached this great scenic place, but at what point are you kind-of over it and just want to go home and eat something other than granola and dried fruit. 5? 10 minutes?
